This document gives a brief introduction to using the School of Physics' workstations and Xterminals. It is by no means a complete guide, it simply aims to give you a few useful hints and to answer some common questions.
Unfortunately, much of the information contained herein is quite technical, and may be incomprehensible on a first reading. Hopefully, however, it will answer most of the commonly asked questions. Suggestions for improvement are welcomed (send e-mail to Michael Ashley, mcba@newt.phys.unsw.edu.au).
