These are some new labs which are intended as a stepping stone from the simple physics labs, which are completed in two hours, to the projects, which last for several weeks and typically entail 8 hours of work. These labs run for 4 hours, spread over 3 weeks. The first week has just one hour of preliminary planning; the second week is two hours of doing the lab; the third week is one hour of finishing the report.
