Year Laboratory Assessment
ASSESSMENT
Aim to finish your experiment and report about 15 min before the lab session ends, and present your report to a demonstrator.
The laboratory mark for each experiment:
- Preparation (out of 5)
- Performance in practical work, recording of measurements, computation of results, plotting of graphs, where applicable, estimation of errors (out of 10)
- Discussion and conclusion (out of 5)
Total mark for the 10 laboratory exercises will count as 40% (PHYS 2110) and 80%(PHYS 2030). The mark for the practical exam will count as 10%(PHYS 2110) and 20%(PHYS 2030). The PHYS 2110 students must pass both the Laboratory component and the Quantum Physics component to pass the entire course.
