PHYS1160 Introductory Astronomy and the Search for Life Elsewhere

This course provides a broad-based view of astronomy and the search for life elsewhere in the Universe. It stresses an interdisciplinary approach and a big picture view of science. No previous knowledge of physics is required to take this course, but it does require the use of scientific thinking, both qualitative and quantitative, to successfully complete it.
