Physics 1 (Aviation) - Session 1
and
PHYS1211 Energy and Environmental Physics - Session 2
PHYS1149 is an introductory physics course in Session 1 for students studying Aviation. It covers a broad range of topics at introductory
level but with less mathematical detail than our other Physics
courses. The course comprises formal class time totalling
6 hours per week: 3 x 1 hour lectures, 1 x 1 hour Problem Solving Class,
1 x 2 hour laboratory period.
Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Aviation (Flying) program will also study PHYS1211 Energy & Environmental Physics as a compulsory course in Settion 2 of their 1st year.
