Physics 1A and PHYS1231 Higher Physics 1B
Introduction
Higher Physics 1A and Higher Physics 1B are single-session
6UC 'companion' courses developed primarily for first year
Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Renewable Energy, Photovoltaics Engineering and Advanced
Science students, as well as Double Degree students.
The courses each comprise formal
class time totalling 6 hours per week: 3 x 1 hour lectures,
1 x 1 hour problem solving class, 1 x 2 hour laboratory period.

of the First Year Unit) to re-take these courses.
