- Problem Solving Classes
Problem solving classes cover the material in your homework problems booklet. There is an introductory set (Set 0) which you should do during Week 1.
PHYS1121 Physics 1A and PHYS1131 Higher Physics 1A - Problem solving classes start in Week 1 [Weeks 1-12]
PHYS0001 Fundamentals of Physics E, PHYS1111 Fundamentals of Physics and PHYS1149 Physics 1 (Aviation) - Problem solving classes start in Week 2 [Weeks 2-13].

- Homework Problems Booklet
Problem Solving Class held every week at the time scheduled on your timetable. You can collect your Homework Problems booklet from the First Year Physics Laboratory once you have obtained the laboratory manual from UNSW bookshop (after you purchase the Laboratory Manual take this to the First Year Physics Laboratory, Rm LG01, Lower Ground Floor, Old Main Building, where you may pick up the Physics Homework Problems booklet) or you can download it from Moodle/Blackboard course.
- Online Self-guided Tutorials
On-line self-guided tutorials are also be available for additional study from the same website as the quizzes.
- Consultation
Teaching assistants will also be available from Week 2 for consultation in the First Year Study Area, Room LG02 in the School of Physics (by the Laboratories). Times will be advertised on the First Year Web site. There will be additional consultation hours before the final examination.
