  • End-of-Session Final Examination:

    This is a written test covering material from the whole course.

  • Additional Assessment for the Final Examination in Term 1, 2012 will be held on Thursday 12th July 2012.

  • Additional Assessment for the Final Examination in Term 2, 2012 will be held on Friday 16 November 2012.

    The supplementary examination will be of the same format as the final examination.

    BEING OVERSEAS IS NOT CONSIDERED AS AN ADEQUATE EXCUSE FOR MISSING THE SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATION. PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO ACCOUNT WHEN PLANNING YOUR TRAVE ARRANGEMENTS.


  • The supplementary exam will be offered to students who perform to a high enough standard in the exam.
    The supplementary exam is available only for those students who are unable to take final examination for a legitimate reason. You must apply for, and be granted, Special Consideration in order to be granted Additional Assessment. Please see the information on first year physics website. The date and procedures for Additional Assessment are also listed there.


  • SUMMER SESSION, 2012/2013
  • If you are granted additional assessment you must contact the First Year Physics Teaching Unit (either in person or by telephone or by email: firstyear@phys.unsw.edu.au) as soon as possible, and no later than Monday 20th February 2012.
    The additional assessment will be held on Wednesday 27 February 2013.
    This will be the only opportunity given to you to take this additional assessment.
