Overview
We have commenced surveying parts of the LMC in 12CO. Currently three target areas have been selected, DC139, N132D and N159HW as detailed below. Around each of these areas a "9 Grid Survey" has been designed. Each grid is 285" * 285" in extent, allowing 15" overlap between adjacent grids.

Schedule files have been created based on DQS procedures. ".inp" & ".sch" files are located at warrum under /c/observer/UNSW/LMC/SCHED/

In the following diagrams, areas coloured orange have been surveyed. Areas coloured blue have been successfully reduced, areas marked red will need to be reobserved, and areas coded yellow are problematic but usable.

Area DC139
Centered about object DC139A at RA = 5:44:23.97 DEC = -69:26:22.61.

Nearby are bright objects
DC139C at RA = 05:44:34.53 DEC = -69:27:53.39
and
DC139D at RA = 05:44:36.00 DEC = -69:25:28.48

Radial velocity is 230km/s. Off/reference position is RA = 05:46:20.00 DEC = -69:25:00.00

Schedule files are named DC139-nn-RA with nn being 01 to 09.
