Student 1:
Give an account of Eddington's experimental verification of
gravitational lensing. What other similar (failed) expeditions were
mounted at about the same time?
Student 2:
Find out what you can about the Virgo cluster. What has been recently discovered regarding our motion towards the Virgo cluster? Do we know what causes it? Compare Virgo to other known massive clusters (with pictures if you can).
