Research Interests
- Surface science and technology. Preparation
of films and coatings by physical and chemical vapour deposition
techniques.
- Characterisation of light-emitting
materials (porous, spark-processed and oxidised silicon) using
scanning probe microscopy (STM/AFM), SEM, LEED, measurements of
electro- and photo-luminescence.
- Studies of clean silicon and germanium
surfaces on atomic level.
