Gavin Rowell (University of Adelaide):
TeV Gamma-Ray Studies of Galactic High Energy Sources and Future Plans

TeV gamma-ray telescopes (in particular H.E.S.S.) have opened up a new window into the high energy Universe. Recent TeV results (in conjunction with those at other wavelengths) are being used to study particle acceleration, propagation, and photon production in Galactic objects such as supernova remnants, pulsar wind nebulae, compact binaries, stellar clusters, molecular clouds and others. I will review some recent results from H.E.S.S. and illustrate the close connection with multiwavelenth observations. I will conclude with an overview of future plans in TeV gamma-ray astronomy.
