Introduction

The document register is a catalogue of all completed documents (including manuals, images and informational documents) relating to the Antarctic Astronomy project.

The register includes, but not exclusively, the following documentation types.

• buildings (AASTO)
  • plans (site and building)
  • services ( including electrical, mechanical, communications, fire, security etc.)
• instrumentation
  • equipment (including test and alignment)
  • modules, assemblies
  • individual components
  • software, address tables etc.

Numbering scheme

• project identifier Use AASTO for all AASTO related drawings.
• instrument or subsystem
  The subsystem number - an integer, starting from 1. Click here for subsystem no.
• module
  The module number - an integer, starting from 1. Click here for module no.
• part
  The part number - an integer, starting from 1.
• type
  The drawing type - an integer, starting from 1. Click here for types no.
• issue (for configuration management)
  The issue (or revision number) - an alphabetic, starting from A.
